Welcome to Southern Evangelical Seminary and College

Southern Evangelical offers students something that cannot be found anywhere else - fully accredited resident and distance education programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels specializing in Apologetics, Biblical Studies, Church Ministry, Christian Education, Islamic Studies, and Philosophy. Each of these unique concentrations integrates classical theology, philosophy, and apologetics for a comprehensive and coherent worldview.

The mission of Southern Evangelical Seminary is to train men and women, based on the inerrant and infallible written Word of God, for the evangelization of the world and defense of the historic Christian Faith. Central to this purpose is the provision of a Biblical basis and an academic understanding of our commitment to Christ. This education will enable the learner to fulfill his or her personal and professional goals as a Christian leader and as an active citizen in the society in which we live.

We invite you to join the hundreds who have already experienced this exciting educational opportunity to become better equipped to evangelize the world and defend the historic Christian Faith (Mt. 28:18-20; 1 Pt. 3:15).

The study of the resurrection of Jesus is essential to the study of historical apologetics. Many scholars maintain that it comprises the centerpiece of this area. As the center of the Christian faith, the course is designed to investigate the relevant issues and prepare the student to be conversant with them.
