The following hotels are all located in close proximity to Southern Evangelical Seminary. All hotels have easy access to I-485 and are near restaurants and shopping. Charlotte is the home of NASCAR’s Lowe’s Motor Speedway. Summer months can mean race weekends. If you will be in Charlotte during a race weekend, be sure to make hotel reservations well in advance.

Extended stays (one week or more):
When coming to Charlotte for residence modules, you should plan to be here from Monday afternoon until Saturday afternoon. Classes begin at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. When making arrival plans, be sure to allow time to get to the school, purchase books and notes, pay tuition, etc. Saturday classes run until 4:00 p.m. Allow for a one hour trip to / from the airport if you are flying in (Directions). Accommodations may be obtained at extended stay hotels in the area. Check with the hotels above for extended stay rates.
JAARS Missionary Center Housing
The JAARS Center offers housing to visiting SES students and guests based on availability. For more information, call 1-800-890-0628, and them know that you are with Southern Evangelical Seminary.

Penn Lodge
Guests may stay in these motel-style rooms up to four nights. For families, the maximum nightly rate is $44 per room. Current rates are as follows:
$32 per night for one or two people
Add $16 per night for each additional adult
Add $6 per night for each additional child
Apartments
Short-term personnel and guests may stay in our apartments up to one year. All apartments are fully furnished, and rates include electricity, water, sewage, trash disposal, DSL and basic telephone service. Stays of less than one month will be prorated based on the monthly rate. Current rates are as follows:
$420–$550 per month for one bedroom
$580 per month for two bedrooms
$615–$680 per month for three or four bedrooms
Recreational Vehicle Sites
Guests may stay in our RV park up to three months, as per county regulations. Our hookups are full-service and include high-speed Internet access. Stays of more than seven nights will be prorated based on the monthly rate. Current rates are as follows:
$15 per night
$295 per month
Please note: All stays of less than 90 days will be subject to a 6.75% sales tax.
